Material Girl

Material girl 001

She’s mastered the art of contouring and jiu jitsu and has all the strength of a chick who has ruined her winged eyeliner for the umpteenth time.

Yeah yeah I’ll go to bed now

Magical Carhop Loser

Waiter style, waiter grace, waiter power on your plate!

Waiter style, waiter grace, waiter power on your plate!

Just a dorky looking waiter who ends up being the only dude on a team of magical waitresses. I don’t know either. My brain suggests all of this stuff. I just draw it. I’d like to play with this idea some more in the future, especially since needle nose up there is fun to draw. Hopefully he’ll look a little less boring and much less like Queith in the future.

If you look closely you can see part of his magical carhop uniform, complete with roller blades.

Off to draw some more losers!

A New Year and a New Chance to Not Finish Anything

Bye bye 2014! Was nice knowing you! Thanks for being the year I get stuff done!

Thanks everyone who came along for that funky 2014 ride! You’re awesome people and awesome motivation! Here’s hoping for an awesome 2015!

Enjoy some really off model punks!

Get Your Ghosties On!

You know what’s funny? I don’t celebrate Halloween, but I have the urge to draw all of this spooky stuff.

~Ooooh~ ~Spoooooky~

~Ooooh~ ~Spoooooky~

I was gonna upload this on October 1st, but I didn’t want to wait anymore. You might get a colored version of this on Friday. I’m actually trying to keep these art promises now, so hooray for progress! See, he even has the pointy gap teeth that I said I’d draw on a character one day!

Jackob is a self proclaimed genius and king of Halloween. He thinks he is the most powerful of all of  the monsters, but he is in fact one of the weakest. It’s to be expected, really. He’s just a humanoid pumpkin thing whose special scary skill is to grow jack-o-lanterns from his fingers. Jackob is stuck with that lame power until he withers up, but he’s happy with it. I mean, no other monster can do that. That makes him the best monster ever, and don’t try to tell him otherwise. He spends most of his time hanging out with his best friend, who is a little ghost girl. The two spend hours playing games and trying (and failing) to be scary.

Anybody else notice this?

Please excuse the silly vent comic. I got a sketchbook full of doodles to shove in your face, so I’ll get to that before the month ends. In the meantime, enjoy some recipe videos and think about all the nice food you want to try.

I Hate This Doodle

I really, truly do.

It's so ugly.

It’s so ugly.

However, I felt like drawing something with black hair. You see, last year’s animated films had quite a few ravenhaired characters. I only got to see one of those movies (I had to read TVtropes articles to learn the plots and endings of some of the others), but that’s not important right now. What’s important is that last year taught me that I am drawn to characters with black hair. They seem to have the most adorable quirks and most amazing personalities (except for Pitch Black. I didn’t get to see Rise of the Guardians, but I can’t look at that character from a frontal view. He’s too creepy for me).

Ms. Kitty here might not have a personality as quirky as other black haired characters. In fact, she looks like the meanest, unfriendliest, most despicable thing I’ve ever drawn. The sketch was fun to make, and I had fun using a small lineart size. However, after a while, working on this became boring. The hair does not even look as nice as I thought it would.

So what did I learn from this? Black hair is hard to color, and sleeve fluff is fun to draw.

Maybe next time I should draw a character with pointy gap teeth. I like characters with pointy teeth and gap teeth.

See you later.

Girl of Rock Smash and Rollout

I think I'll call her Charlee

I think I’ll call her Charlee

So I was chitchatting with a buddy this weekend. He happens to like Chespin, a new Pokemon for a new Pokemon game. He showed a few pictures of the little cutey, which made me want to draw a Chipette version of it (after all, what good is a chipmunk Pokemon if no one makes an Alvin and the Chipmunks reference?) I have to honestly say that this was a lot of fun. The style is not something I’m used to, but I like it. Maybe I should do more Chipmunk/ Pokemon crossover doodles.

Unfortunately, I am too tired to write anything else.

Good night, all.

Ps: I must give credit where credit is due:

Chipette reference: Here (Please do look at the rest of her art. It is adorable.)

Ps again: I removed the update page from the site. It just seemed pointless.

First Post of the Year!

And it only took a month and a half!

My first ever lip sync animation!

Yes, I am back. I don’t have much to report other than the fact that my Birthday was two weeks ago. I’ve been very busy lately (aren’t you tired of hearing that?), but don’t worry. I have not forgotten the site or any of you guys. Hopefully I’ll be able to find time for doodles and comics. Disappointing you guys would make me sad. Anyway, that is all I have to say.

Good night~

Merry Christmas!

Honestly, Mu, you are the only gargoyle I know who could accomplish this!

Merry Christmas, guys. I wanted to make a set of GIFs for you, but I caught a fever and that prevented me from doing anything. I feel a little better, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do anymore of these. If I do do more of these it will be a Christmas miracle.

Anyway, I’m going to rest. I hope you all have a safe Holiday.

Ps: I got the pine brushes from this site.
